how can I think in engkish when i am german????? :nix:
to think in english i must control the language.
and when i re-leran it, i didn't.
so the grammatiks can be a little bit confused.
i think, when the other poeple understand me, thats absloute okay.
the rest will bei coming soon by rote.

My husband once dreamed in french (he knows that because he talked in his sleep and his brother didn't understand more than a few words)

Im sooo stupid, at work today i was searching for an english word for "Schrank" and for sure i know this word, but i didnt remember. Now im sitting at home and i have it, the word was closet...........gimme an a**kick please.....
That happen to you if you must speak german in one minute and in the next you must speak english.....:wall:

@Mixe: that happens to yuo if you have to speak gwerman in one minute and in the next you have to speak english again...

Once I was in France for two weeks. The girl that I visited couldn't speak german very good, neither did I french. So we mixed both languages along with english and latin, and when I went home I wasn't capable of speaking a sentence in one language...

@Biene....there are more words for "Schrank". Im not sure, but i think a cupboard is a closet hanging on the wall and an closet is always standing

regarding the Narnia-stories there is one more word for "Schrank" (in this case "Garderobenschrank": Wardrobe (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)

Oh yeah, some words are coming back right now. I remember the word wardrobe, i think i learned it in school

I didn't learn it at school, I first herared it in the movie tite, than read it in the book, we got for Christmas last year.

That are my thoughts the last weeks and month. Buy a book in english language and read it to get an better english, but the problem is that i have to less time to read books. Doesnt matter in which language.
So i have to write and speak in my worst english but as long as everybody understand me is it okay i think

hi @all, i'm back too from berlin.
the last days are very stressful for me an the others who was with me.
in the morning we must take the bus at 30 past 8 and we arrive in the evening at
20 o'clock, or we are staying amaonutly in the city, wihtout going to the hotel.
my feet are suffer with pain, and i'm very tired, but it was a groovy journey,
and i would do it one more time.

If you mean "durchgehend", why dont you write continuous or permanent. End to end you also can write
