Here we go, I think I have finally finished the init.d script for my settings. This makes your life easier as you don't need to apply these settings in the app manually now.
NOTE - franco's app does A LOT MORE and I highly recommend you buy it and support his work
VomerTweaks allows you to get insane battery life with minimal/no performance impact. Who doesn't like that!?
Current Features:
- CPU Under clock
- GPU Under clock
- Hotplug Optimizations
- Color Profile Application
- Governor Optimizations
- Vibration amp set to 75 (default is 100)
Changelog

- Minor bug fixes

- Removed Voltage Control to avoid problems for users with lower PVS chips.

- Custom colors! Your screen will now look awesome right from the start
- Changes to GPU optimizations
- Changes to input boost to be more conservative
- Script cleaned up a bit for better boot performance
- Hotplug behavior changes
- Updates to RAW file with reference paths and instructions for script application
- Voltage bumped up a bit to avoid any reboot problems for lower PVS chips
What do I need?
- Start by downloading the latest version of the script from [DLMURL="http://192.227.135.147/N5_ColorProfiles/01VomerTweaks"]this link[/DLMURL]. Make sure the downloaded file is named 01VomerTweaks (no file extensions)
- File Manager that allows root mounting
- Note: Users on STOCK ROMs will need this app + busybox to enable init.d support
- Optional: Users of Tasker can get Tzfardaya's file (HERE) and import it into tasker
If you flash a new ROM/update - you will need to re-do the steps below as the script will get erased in the process
Let's Roll!
Method 1: Flash via Recovery (easiest)
Note: Please ensure you are running TWRP v2.7.0.0 or higher when trying this method.
Thanks to @no.one.writeme for help with the script
[INDENT]updater-script:
-Modified/removed Banner
-Identify hammerhead as device to apply script.
-Changed mount and unmount commands.Added:
-Backup script for rom's that have that funcionality ( like PA and others ), ie, after rom update the script is restored.Simply flash [DLMURL="http://192.227.135.147/N5_ColorProfiles/vomertweaks_flashable.zip"]this file[/DLMURL] using TWRP (I do not use CWM so I recommend you use TWRP with this file)
Method 1a: Manual init.d Application
Open your file manager, go to your root directory, and remount your /system partition as RW instead of RO.
Once the /system is mounted as RW we can move our script to the init.d folder and change the scripts permissions.
The init.d folder is located here:
/system/etc/init.d
Move the downloaded script to this folder
The name of your script determines the order in which it is executed. The first two characters determine the order of execution. The ordering is as follows - numbers from 0-99, then letters from A-Z. I have already named the script for you and does not need a re-name unless you really want to change the sequence. I have it set to execute first because I want to get kernel tweaks done as early as possible.
Now, long-press it and select "Change Permissions" (or however this is done in your file manager).
Give User, Group, and Other read, write, and execute permissions (755). See ScreenshotYour init.d script will now optimize your device to my tweaks quickly and efficiently at every boot
Method 2: Manual Execution
If you like doing this manually:
- Open Terminal Emulator
- Type: su -
- Type: sh /sdcard/Download/01VomerTweaks
You will see a pause/delay of 20 seconds and then all things should be set for youTry it out! It is work in progress so I will keep everyone posted on changes/updates.
Please do report any issues you might face (it's unlikely)
Special thanks to @franciscofranco @The Gingerbread Man @bigknowz @Tzfardaya and everyone else who contributed for their help [/INDENT]
