Smartwatch sind nett aber nix für mich da allgemein kein Uhren träger. Und wenn dann kommen eh wenige Modelle in betracht den RUND muss sie, wenn dann schon, sein.

Hey folks, so due to the latest weird things happening with Play Services I've taken the time to extract a minimal gapps packages out of the N5 5.1.1 LMY48B factory image. This may seem ironic but even though this is from the factory that came out yesterday all of these apps are already out of date. HOWEVER, I have had no FCs after upgrading all of my apps so long as this gapps package is found in my system. This gapps packages WILL require a CLEAN INSTALL if coming from other gapps and is only meant for the Nexus 5. Furthermore, this is not meant to be a permanent solution to the weird Play Store issues this is just a band-aid for the time being.

Thanks to Micheal Banks for the installation and layout which I borrowed from him!

What does this contain?

-Nexus 5 Factory 5.1.1 LMY48B Based Gapps (Not meant for other devices)
-Play Store
-Play Services
-Google App (Search) for "OK Google" everywhere feature

Instructions

1. MAKE SURE YOU WIPE DATA, SYSTEM, CACHE, DALVIK!!!!
2. Flash on your N5 (other devices you can attempt at your own peril) after you Flash the ROM.
3. Live long and prosper!

The lone commit in this release appears to be a bug fix for devices with encryption enabled. The adspd process has been set up to start up when the encryption lock screen instead of after.

While the changelog itself isn't very exciting, it's clearly dedicated to the Nexus 6, which is a pretty good indicator that some OTAs and factory images should be rolling out soon. While other Nexus devices have been receiving Android 5.1.1 for the last few weeks, the Nexus 6 stayed on 5.1.0. We're keeping an eye out for updates, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the new version rolling out within the next few days. Since there are an assortment of different variants for individual cellular carriers, the OTAs probably won't come out all at once.

Keep in mind, the new changelog only shows the difference between r2 and r3. When the Nexus 6 is updated, it will also include the cumulative changes from previous updates (link 1, link 2, link 3), as well.
