Sorry for my late reply. Maps was able to locate my position but wasn't able to keep it for more than 2 minutes. Plus I have another app for work which tracks my daily km and this didn't work at all. I guess Maps was able to locate me by using mobile data connection.
Latest build fixed this issue for me though. Can't tell if the reboots are gone yet.
Thanks for all your efforts, @ctfrommn! Great work on the new build and thanks for including this reboot fix. Unfortunately GPS isn't working for me anymore now. :lol:
I clean flashed btw coming from latest Nitrogen which had the fix included. GPS was working on Nitrogen.
That's terrible news. Hopefully you'll find another cheap Shamu until Nokia 9 is released.

I have the same problem but I hardly ever use voice messages so I kinda forgot about it. But I noticed it as well.
I get reboots every now and then. Sometimes when I'm on the go and sometimes at night time when I'm asleep. This also happened on Nougat.
Whats everyone looking at for their next device?
So OP5 (my first choice a couple of weeks back) was more or less disappointing. I would probably go for a Pixel XL if prices are going down.

Hey Chad,
I flashed your new build this morning. Dirty flash (on top of Velo of course). So far it's running very smooth. Just one issue is really annoying me: when I go into silent mode (I use the left of the three toggles in reboot menu) the sound comes back after some time. Sometimes it's a couple of minutes, sometimes less and it switches to normal "loud" mode. This doesn't happen when in vibrate mode (the middle toggle switch in reboot menu). I thought maybe it's one of my installed apps that causes this but I can't think of one... This has never happened to me before on Velo but I had the same issue with Tesla builds.
Any chance to reproduce and/or fix this?

Thanks for the new build. Just flashed it and it's running super smooth. Unfortunately my phone shut down again for no reason as I've described HERE before. Any chance you could look into that, @ctfrommn ? Let me know if I can provide a logcat or help in any other way...
Edit: Actually it doesn't shut down, it's just gone. Screen goes black and that's it. Like someone would remove the battery.
I'm sorry if I'mrepeating myself but the latest build is running smoooooth... Battery life seems awesome as well!
Die Entscheidung kann ich gut verstehen. Ich habe bei Tapatalk seit Monaten das Gefühl, dass die App mit jedem Update schlechter wird und nutze die meisten Foren nur noch im mobilen Browser. Das geht mittlerweile auch wirklich mehr als gut, das kann ich nur bestätigen.
