Im going to upload my last and final 7.1.0 build for you guys as its such a nice build and Im not sure when the next will be. This is mostly a performance update. This is built with my custom clang toolchain along with a variety of other performance related items. Not sure how it will dirty over the last build, but if you have issues just clean flash. This is substantially faster than the last release.

Yea, I read that also after I posted this. Hopefully it eventually comes but in the meantime Im going to try building using 7.0 kernel and binary.

So, looks like no 7.1.1 official for Shamu which isnt entirely surprising. No idea what this means for future development. All builds are now technically "ports", which I guess the current build is also. As long as current 7.0 binaries and kernel source continue to work I think we'll be ok. Looks like source will be out today/tomorrow and Ill be starting completely fresh again so no idea how long for builds and what thell be like.

If/when new builds are available I'll let people know. I'm not doing anything new till 7.1.1 source drops.

Custom clang toolchain will be returning to Velocity soon. Next build will likely use DTC clang till I can cook my own, but this is the first time since Android M I have been able to get a working build with anything but AOSP clang so very exciting news. Even using a prebuilt DTC chain is noticeably faster than AOSP one. Builds should get significantly faster soon.

I dont take requests. This is my personal build so take it or leave it as is.

All merged commits are included. Font commit is still open and it doenst look like anyone has added it back yet. It does look close to being merged though.

Next build....should address some BH issues
- OMS-7 commits and updated masquerade
- Added standalone file explore
- More Pixel-iness - Black boot animation, Pixel sounds, updated settings icon, etc
- Usual fixes, cleanup, etc
- Updated kernel and toolchain
- Other random bits and bobs
Should be up in a bit. Dirty flash is fine, though I would consider wiping system. -

OMS7 as the theming platform I do not know how they're doing it.
Ok, after wiping system and reinstalling the app is now showing OMS-7 as the version. New build will be out in a day or so I imagine.

I doubt it matters. There is no "right" image as this is a 7.1 Rom and there are no 7.1 images out as its not official for anything apart from the Pixels. No matter what you use the fingerprint will not match. I would say since this is still October security I would use whatever build number that represented.

I dont even use OMS. Its a fairly useless addition to me. I only added it because it was fairly simple and unintrusive. Which 7.1 Roms did you run that had OMS7 showing in the app settings? I added all the new, merged commits and it still says OMS3 for the theming platform.

Tons of those commits arent merged yet. Last time I added those that were none of it worked. Masquerade is already at v15 and I thought it was in the last build, but I may have added it after. As soon as the commits are merged and stable Ill update it.

Update time....not too major, but still nice.
- More Pixel-iness- Boot animation, nav buttons, settings icon
- Tons of underhood stuff
- Updated kernel
- Bunch of random fixes and enhancements

You need a GApps pack with search included.
-
Not until the apps update. Uninstal and reinstall a Google app and you'll see the new icons.
-
Yes, but its only for Google apps (and other apps that support it) and only after the apps are updated or on a clean flash. Almost all my Google apps are round now.

Does this build the Nov. security patch in it? Just wondering because r19 is said to cause bootloop if you use frameworks substratum theme overlay. There is a way to revert a commit and fix it I read on G+ somewhere just wondering if I should not theme this version?
Thank you for your hard work!
Whats R19? This is a 7.1 Rom. And no, no Nov patch as of yet. Im still waiting to see a changelog for it.
