I just use gapps install script to remove it. And as far as builds....yea. I deleted all of them and am working on new stuff. The one mikaole shared is Sept update, more kernel stuff, and some other minor items. I dont keep builds up too long right now as so much is changing.
why dont remove launcher3
Because not everyone wants to use Nexus launcher. Many people dont use Google app at all.

Newbuild... Major night mode changes with credit to Chet (UBER) Rom for the awesome theming work. I tweaked a bunch of colors to make it more my style though. MVK has arrived on Angler. So far it's updated to Linux version 3.10.103, built with my custom GCC-7.0 toolchain, initial Velocity optimizations and cleaned up a bit. No kernel features yet as i want to get the rest settled first. That said, this should run really well and be faster than any other kernel already. No go on camera or sensors yet but I check everyday and try all I can to fix them.

Clean flash is sweeping the factory reset slider and dirty is wiping nothing.
Clean flash coming from M is an absolute necessity. I typically build daily but as we're still in getting N up to speed mode some days may be more, some less. Remember, we don't even have proper N binaries or kernel source yet. And speaking of kernel.....I know I've said this many times to all those here, but MVK ( Maximum Velocity Kernel) is an integral part to the system that is this project. If you're going to use a different kernel you might as well just go flash some other Rom.... It's that important to the overall experience.
Working on a BH kernel next.....you guys shouldnt be forced to use something else.

Next build....HUGE kernel update to 3.10.103 + some secret sauce I added. Night mode is back as well. Getting it to turn on is a bit odd right now....took me a while to figure out what was happening with the switch because pressing it was doing nothing and you kind of had to press it a bunch of times till you got "lucky" and it would turn on. What I realized after nearly driving myself crazy is that if you press just below the switch it works everytime. Im not sure if some piece of code is missing, if theres a margin, or something else weird but thats the deal for now. Once you figure out where to press it looks/works great. This is the stock solution that was in NP1 and tied to the full night mode with screen tint and such. This build is really really fast so you may need to emotionally prepare first. Hopefully this will be up in a bit.
8/29 is an old build at this point. Im not saving these early builds but no, no sound issues. I will say we need real binaries.
