Stimmt schon, hatte ich auch schon ganz oben geschrieben. Beim Ubermallow ist das auch so, da gibt es nur leider keine Mods.

Ich finde auch das installieren und wiederherstellen von Apps geht unter Stock/odex schneller.

Also packen wir die system.img in eine Zip, das Update mit rein und fertig wäre das Cataclysm ROM für das Recovery.
Ich bleibe bei Cata schon aus dem Grund da die Features komplett ins Deutsche, zum Teil auch von mir, übersetzt sind, Cata Stock ist und Updates in kleinen Paketen (ca. 30 MB) folgen werden.
Auch die Features sind für mich persönlich übersichtlich und besser gelungen.

AOSIP musst Du auch neu installieren.
Ich habe mir jeweils von Stock und AOSP die Daten gesichert, so kann ich beliebig zwischen den Versionen wechseln. .

Dieser MOD funktioniert nur mit Stock ROM, es werden nur die Dateien ausgetauscht die dafür nötig sind. Auch bleib das System Odexed was dann wieder schneller läuft.
Die ROM Ubershamu von Despair ist auch ODEXED, läuft dadurch auch "besser".

Es wird eine einmalige Prozedur sein ;).

Ich habe hier gelesen, wenn man das Data Backup vom Cat.-ROM mit dem TWRP wieder einspielt soll alles wieder funktioniern. Ich probiere es eben mal aus.

Edit: bei mir hat es wunderbar funktioniert, fertig.

I understand many people don't like changes or underestimate the flexibility this will bring, but we're on XDA, we create stuff, we think different, we do new things, this is development.
If i didn't think outside the box Cataclysm would've been just another "rom" with the same stuff syndrome.

Introducing Cataclysm Mod.
Cataclysm Mod is a small zip, 30Mb ish, which will convert your stock firmware to Cataclysm seamlessy, no wipes are even needed.
Every future Cataclysm will just be a small zip, like those delta updates you used to love.
While i'm calling this a Mod, we're still talking of a fully featured firmware or as many call it, a ROM.
I don't like this "mod" name though but it will help the transition, also i've faith you'll help here the people who won't understand how to install this.
If you're wondering what are the advantage of it, well it's simple:
- no more fiddling with big zips,
- no more deodexing issues
- focus only on code and features
- more bug proof then ever
- way faster updates on new sources
- no more betas on new sources due unnecessary changes, it will just work
- supporting more devices would take minutes only (N5P/N5X soon)
- first clean boot will take seconds only.
- more /data space available.

This whole new flexibility atm comes at a cost though.
Currently a permissive kernel is needed (included one is permissive)
Will keep working hardly on this to make a permissive kernel not mandatory.
Three features are removed, little ones, the previous not working ones have been included now, like every per-app settings (Wake/Led/LockscreenNotifications).
You may need to setup them again, but now they're backuppable!

Force encryption will be still disabled, you can enable it by yourself though.

- firmware had to be deodexed and this have always brought up unknown results and errors due to this process - Firmware musste deodexed werden und das hat immer unbekannte Ergebnisse und Fehler durch diesen Prozess gebracht
- gapps issues - Gapps Probleme

- slower releases on big changes like dalvik-->art etc etc. - langsamere Versionen durch große Veränderungen wie Dalvik -> Art etc...
