they say it removes the distortion at high volumes with headphones which it does indeed.

"HD" audio added to Shamu....no idea if its actually any different though. I pulled the commits from Elite kernel. All the normal clang/gcc/kernel updates as well.

ctfromm did you use gcc 7.0 for the rom as well or anly for the kernel? because the latest release is absolutely sliding like butter. whatever you did good job man keep it up.

No No. You may have missunderstood me :P. I just said that it was working differently than in other kernels which I liked. Sorry, but my english isnt perfect... But thanks for adding it back.
Also heard that the latest OTA from yesterday has a new radio. Will that be included too? -
I have to say that the latest version is by far the best!! Not even the slightest hickup when scrolling in chrome,facebook,g+ etc. I really like this. Also, would you consider adding back the bcl driver? Since it causes my device to crash when recieving calls under 50% charge. You probably wont have any issues, but every device handels the absence of bcl differently. Thanks for your hard work!!

With latest build after setting up my wifi it stays at establishing connection and then the setup wizard crashes. clean flash with latest banks gapps.

ctfromm, since you removed the bcl driver i have been getting reboots under 20% battery. mostly when recieving a call while browsing. i will try the latest build and if it happens again i will let you know.

I thing that is due to the rom having day/night mode and not because of the commits, but i could be wrong..

yeah I noticed the 2core thing. but after a bit it changes to 4core again so its all right.
about the rebooting, i meant that it will eventually reboot if you remove/disable the bcl driver. now all is working absolutely fine. -

Ok, so I searched what a BCL driver was and I definitely havent touched that, though I will now. thats an incredibly irritating "feature".
Oh thats strange. Because on stock and other kernels the bcl driver kicks in after 60% battery and under certain circumstances it limits the cpu to 1.9 until you reboot or charge the phone. On your kernel it goes back to 2.6 again thats why I was suprised. Since you are going to mess with that, I want to tell you that by removing that, it causes the phone to reboot when the battery cant supply enough power to the cpu.

Man I just realized that you modified the bcl driver to re-enable the cores and ramp up again from 1.9 to 2.6. You are a true genius! Respect mate

well it actually happens on all builds i used so far. and now im on latest.did you try hearing music on landscape mode and then rotating it by 180°? One time it is louder from the left and the other from the right. it may by my hardware but i hope not.

Hi ctfromm. I wanted to say that my top speaker is producing a higher volume when whatching videos or playing music than the bottom. Is this intended? Are there any logs or anything else I can provide? Thank you for this awesome rom!

Just installed Google camera and all seems fine.
Triet it a few times and the same here.
I just tried to switch google camera to video and back and it happened again.
Did anyone notice that the top speaker is a bit louder than the bottom one? Not a big issue but just noticed it.

Yep thats what I meant. No camera shows anything. But now it works. Weird.

Latest build is insanly fast, but for me no camera app is opening. I did a clean install..
Edit: Ok all of sudden it works again.
