If youre not going to use MVK you might as well not use Velocity. Its a key component to the system. Would be like buying a Ferrari and putting a different engine in it.

What theme is that? I tried M / N Dark but it does not work 100% correctly. Some things do not look correct.

Running great here in the United States Verizon! I just installed it, but network works, date/time work, camera works, Bluetooth works. So far, so good!
