Was hat der eigentlich mit seinen Versionsnummern?
7.26 war das letzte PLUS Update von Gio am Sonntag oder Montag (da hab ich es gelesen).
Jetzt bietet er auf seiner Homepage und bei G+ unter WhatsApp+ die v6.74 an :eek:
Genau dort, wo ich am Montag noch die Infos und den Download für die v7.26 gefunden habe.
Verrückte Tulpenzüchter..der hat sich doch das Hirn weggekifft.
Habs gerade entdeckt.
Komisch, dass nur "seine" WhatsApp+ User betroffen sind.
Wo kommt das denn her? Aluhut Community?

Nimm GB. Alles andere ist sowieso GB, aber vollgepumpt mit Mist

Ich denke, da wirst du wohl nicht drum herum kommen!! Den Fehler hatte ich auch mal und es half bei mir nur eine neu Installation!! Daten in der App gelöscht brachte bei mir auch nichts, auch das nochmal drüber bügeln der App brachte nichts.
Es hat gereicht, dass ich einmal das Theme gelöscht und dann alles neu eingestellt habe. Wiederherstellen der alten Themedatei brachte wieder den Fehler.
Was ist denn der Unterschied zwischen GBWhatsapp und Whatsapp+?

Eigentlich garkeiner.
GBWhatsapp=Whatsapp mit den speziellen Plus Features ABER der Dateiordner heisst GBWhatsapp und der App Paketname ist auch com.gbwhatsapp.
Daraus folgt: Es gibt durch den anderen Ordnernamen oft Probleme beim wiederherstellen aller Medien, wenn du die App wechselst (z.B. vom Original oder einem anderen Mod kommend)
Whatsapp+= Ist mittlerweile auch von den GBWhatsapp Machern, hat allerdings den Paket- und Ordnernamen wie das Original. Die Plus Features sind alle enthalten.
Ist meiner Meinung nach am einsfachsten zu verwenden, weil unnötige Fehler beim wiederherstellen der Medien nicht auftreten. Ausserdem funktonieren hier auch dritte Apps, wie z.B. SMS mein Auto und ich, weil sie die Modversion durch den richtigen Paketnamen als Original erkennen.
Noch eine Sache für alle:
Gio ist wieder mit einer Plus Version da

Folgendes Problem: wenn ich einen Chat öffne stürzt die APK ab, weil OpenMapFix einen Fehler hat. Gruppen lassen sich öffnen. Jemand eine Idee das ohne Neuinstallation zu regeln?

Über Dirty Unicorns:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days, it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). However, many others have joined the project since and it has grown a lot. Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base, which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. With that said, it has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Ich mag Nexus und werde wohl auch dabei bleiben. Eventuell mal das OnePlus testen. Aber ich werde nicht mehr so verrückt sein und es direkt beim Release kaufen. Lieber etwas warten, die ganzen Kinderkrankheiten anderen Leuten überlassen, gucken ob mir die vorhandenen Roms überhaupt zusagen und dann ganz entspannt an die Sache ran gehen.

Welche Version ist das? Ich habe immernoch das GB Whatsapp, welches von OSM Themes auf die Plus Version gepimpt wurde. Mit original Paket und Ordnername. Base ist 2.12.246.
