I´m not sure but I think, If you can count it, you use many, like many words, many pictures. If you can´t count it, you should use much, like much fun...
Is this right?
We talked much about bearings and which bearing is to choose . There are radial and axial bearings and different types of round bodies in that, like needles or balls.

the difference is: much=all nouns you can not count,like:much food, much work, much time,..
many:you take "many" when you have nouns in plural,like:drinks, many petrol stations, many workers,..
