Well done , any changelog around?
-
No changelog available. All changes are under the hood and toolchain changes.
-
Is Velocity daily build? I thought it was more like a weekly or monthly release cycle.
-
As you see, there is no release cycle. Chad release the great V ( ) when he compile a new Version you can Flash every build or every week ( when he release One every week ) or every month, as you like.

Well I figured that out. Unfortunately I couldn't get Velocity to run with the OpenGapps packages as I used to with other ROMs before.
Since I didn't wanted to change my choice of GApps I were testing some other ROMs I never gave a try before.
I'll give Velocity another chance on it's next update. -
I use open pico without problems...try a clean install with wiping System Partition
-
I'll have to check the next time I try Velocity. I always do clean installs unless I'm only updating the same ROM. I tried different OpenGapps versions and even different build dates but it just wouldn't work altogether. I'm sure certain commits on either end were to blame that had boycotted my attempts on trying out Velocity.

Do you end in bootloop or what is the problem ? Sometimes I get problems because some apps have no permissions or not all permissions granted and that's why they stop or won't work correctly
-
I can't remember properly what it was, but I think it was the intial Android setup. No matter what OpenGapps variant I flashed I couldn't setup my Google account. But on other ROMs the same OpenGapps packages would work without problems .

Velocity absolutely works with Open Gapps .... its all I use. I'll flash Mako tonight as I havent touched it in a while.

Afraid the Velocity journey on Mako has come to an end. It was a good run all the way back to the PSX days. If this ever properly runs N and I can fairly easily make it work I may build for it again. But till then, thanks to everyone.

Thank you very much for supporting mako for so long. I will keep using the last Velocity build until there's a stable N port. An XDA developer has already released a port, but it's still very much a WIP, as expected.
