Mir persoenlich gefaellt er besser als 7-zip, weil er die sfx und einige Setups oeffnen und extrahieren kann, wo 7-zip scheitert (z.B. Windows Installer Clean Up Tool => msicuu.exe).

Die 4.0 Beta 1 hatte noch Probleme. Die konnte 7z nicht entpacken (teilweise) und sie konnte keine 7z erstellen (wurden nur 0KB Dateien). Behoben wurde es anscheinend mit meinem Tipp, dass man die 7za.dll mit der von 9.07 Alpha tauschen sollte (zumindest habe ich nach der Installation von IZArc genau die DLL noch vorgefunden gehabt. Das koenntest aber mal nachgucken. Nicht, dass es bei mir noch ein Ueberbleibsel von meinem Kopiervorgang war.

Heute ist Version 4.1.6 erschienen.
