Rom Android Open Master OMP Shamu 7.0 N

AOSP master just merged N source....OMP is on hold as I have to start over again. This is my preferred Rom, so dont fret. It will be back soon I hope.

OMP is rising from the ashes....just working on it now. SuperSU no longer works on it so you'll need to use PHH's superuser which I may change to anyway. So far everything that works (and doesnt work) on N is the same on OMP. Hopefully a real build by tomorrow.

Getting close....final testing now. All features that Velocity has this has and so far all apps that work on Velocity work on this. This does have all the needed substratum commits as well. I ran into some camera issues trying to "fully optimize" this so more speed to come, but this is already a lot faster than Velocity.

I just added the needed superuser app to the build too so all you'll need is the zip in recovery. Everything else is just like flashing any other Rom (mine anyway )

Next build time...we have battery and notification LED's now. There are no settings for them. Theyre just on with default values but they do work. Major sync update. Kernel update. Is definitely faster again.

I know, that Chad doesn't use it.
So... Is here anybody who is using Viper or A.R.I.S.E on OMP?
It works for me on Velocity but on OMP the drivers don't work... Any advice?

Likely selinux permissions. I'll take a look.

After rebooting WiFi is always off. Only on my side?

OK, I'd changed in Kernel adiutor to permissive. Now it's fine with Viper

OK... Problem not inside rom.
I'm using an app for reboot instructions till the screen off QS-Tile with the longpress feature is back.... Chose Hot reboot causes the problem. Sorry. [emoji32]

Wow, this rom is definately faster and smoother than anything I've flashed so far. Great job again! Unfortunately I have a lot of issues with WhatsApp. I know that the dev does not use WA but for me it is an important app.

After flashing the rom, when I first started WA it let me enter my phone number to verify but then I got an FC when I chose to restore my backed up messages. I restored the data using Titanium Backup and then it worked for a while. Now I have FCs again.

Others are using WA just fine. Restoring backups via TiBu is likely the issue.
