Rom Android Open Master OMP Shamu 7.0 N

Ich hatte die Probleme aber auch schon:
Wiederherstellung des Backups über Neuanmeldung von WA ist fehlgeschlagen. Trotz aller Berechtigungen, speichern in Drive und auf der SD . Da half dann nur die Wiederherstellung aus TB und erneute Verifizierung von WA. Aber FC's hatte ich da nicht.

Others are using WA just fine. Restoring backups via TiBu is likely the issue.

I've tried both, fresh install from Playstore AND my TB backup. Both crash, TB backup only every now and then. Seems like I have to go back to Velocity for now.

Ja, habe ich alles gecheckt. Die frische Installation aus dem Playstore ging nicht (bin sogar extra aus dem Beta-Programm ausgetreten, weil ich dachte, dass es daran liegt und habe die normale Version installiert). Da ist er immer beim Wiederherstellen des Backups abgestürzt. Dann habe ich WA nochmal neu installiert und die Daten per TB wiederhergestellt. Ok, today I had the same problem, @Bödi had: WhatsApp crashes.

I think I´ve figured out what the problem causes:
1. I´ve recognized, that the FC only happens when Wifi is connected. On 3G, WA works perfect.
2. I´ve tried to back up WA for further testings...as I´m doing it with Google Drive, I´ve recognized (statusbar) that (Wifi on and connected) the back-process starts...preparing backup...an then WA FC´s.
3. So I´ve set WA backup with Drive to "never" and now WA works even when connected to Wifi properly.
4. Next try: Backing up WA "manually" on Drive was the next thing...which works also properly.

So I think that there is something wrong between Drive and WA and the thing "do it daily, weekly, monthly". I really don´t know what this causes...will go on testing.

... and I think that TimeService Provider needs to be updated. DateBug is still present here...

Thats unfixable right now. Have you tried an N Rom that it works on? Timeservice is part of the vendor binaries.

Hmmm, ok weird. I'll add the same one I added to Velocity then and lets see. Working on new optimizations now. I know you've had a taste...but much more coming.

Great to hear. Do you have a plan on readding the "old' MM features from OMP / Velocity to N?

Thats the plan....N has changed a lot though so it wont be easy till I can see the new commits.

Thanks for sharing your work. Rom is ultra smooth and fast unlike the other 7.0 roms for N6. I was wondering does anyone else have the issue when streaming or playing music from media player the audio drops to half volume? Happens on Velocity and OMP for me. Not complaining...just wondering if its just on my end. Thank you again.

No mods at all. I use Youtube, Spotify and Neutron music player for local files.

Forgot to mention that the issue doesn't happen to me on Uber 7.0 rom but I prefer OMP and Velocity. Nothing as fast or smooth.

If its been there on every build I dont know what to tell you. Reporting random stuff is basically useless to me. I wouldnt have a clue as to what would cause something like that.
