New build should be finished today. Will be official 7.1.1, finally, as well as the usual optimizations, updated toolchains, and other random fixes/enhancements. I havent forgotten about additional features but I just havent gotten to them yet.

Thank you
Will it eventually have the options of the 12-5-16 build?
Just wondering and not asking for eta by any means.
If you build it I will flash lol. -
No. Some will come back but likely less than half.
-
Ran into some issues with call audio. Not sure what the issue is yet, but it's either kernel or binary update related. Hopefully I can work this out soon.
-
At the moment i am running stock 7.1.1 and also having sound problems during calls. It seems a lot of people are having this problem. Several threads in XDA about the problem. I can hear other people fine but they hear a weird sound, specially when on speaker.
-
The sound is coming through both speakers and causing an echo for the callers. This has been an issue similar to this on every update of nougat. I'm glad it's not just me.
-
Is there anyone who can test this for me to confirm what Im seeing? Seems this isnt affecting all users. No one else I have using this has this issue. A USA user would be helpful if possible.
-
Not having such issue here, and I'm pretty sure as I make a ton of phonecalls during the day due to work.
Oh and I'm located in Italy if that helps.
-
I havent uploaded a new build with the issue yet.
-
Ok, seems clean flashing or even wiping system seems to fix this issue. Hopefully a build will be ready today.
-
I'm in the US and willing to test if needed
-
Thanks, I appreciate it. I've got this narrowed down though. Its absolutely an app or GApp related. If I clean flash Rom only all is fine. If I clean flash Rom + GApps (PICO or Nano) all is fine. When I restore apps/data via TiBu it starts acting up.
-
Ok, so this is Google restore related. If I allow Google restore to run at all after the 1st reboot this shows up. No idea what would cause that or why it just started after updating kernel and binaries to 7.1.1 but thats the deal. This is likely why very few have this issue. Setting up as new device seems to work fine regardless of Tibu restore or GApps package. What a f'n PITA.

Seriously LOL so restoring a backup even thru Google causes this?

This is getting on my last nerve....issue is 100% related to new vendor binaries. I redid the kernel based on 7.1.1 source and all is ok till I update the binaries. Im gonna try a few more things, but its odd no other Roms have this issue.

Probably this is part of the last minute issues google found before pushing the official 7.1.1. Otherwise it doesn't make sense at all.

Its this.....
Beta-OptInGood news is I think I have it all working now. Just doing some more testing.
-
I just clean flashed new build and it looks like this is fixed. What a PITA....thanks Google!
Alright, lets see how this is for everyone else....I would say at the very least, wipe both caches and system but clean may be better.
