Update: clean flashed velocity with open gapps 4/13 stock package (w/ custom install config) and it restored my apps and data all fine. running good.

Awesome, Im glad Angler is working at least. Shamu is a port at this point so not surprising there are issues. Hopefully the new Android One is all its rumored to be. I need to get something newer this year.

My angler has never run so well, and the battery life and customizations are just perfect. Really like the way you did not overdue the features like many other roms do. I clean flashed using the Mini Dynamic Gapps (only ones I knew for sure were working with 7.1.2 ROMs at the time) and have no issues at all. The issue I had in the previous build where the Google app was freezing is also gone now. All is good!
