True Image Home 2015 by Acronis

Acronis hat die finale Version der 2015er Version von True Image herausgebracht. Es wurden einige Dinge gestrichen und die GUI wurde an Windows 8 angepasst. Dies gilt aber nur fuer die installierte Version. Die BootCD hat die altbekannte GUI. Zudem gibt es nur noch eine Version, also kein Unterschied zu Standard, Premium, etc.. Zudem ist Universal Restore ein extra Download. Man erstellt dann 2 CDs. Die Linux (oder WinPE basierte) fuer den Restore und danach bootet man die Universal Restore CD.

Nein, du bekommst die neue Version nur kostenlos, wenn du zwischen 1. August und 16. September Acronis 2014 gekauft hattest (oder irgendwie so waren die Daten). Der Banner war eben auch noch auf deren Website. Im ersten Post habe ich mal Bilder hinzugefuegt.

Ja, ich nutze es. Aber ich nutze es auch nur fuer das Image Backup. Try & Decide ist z.B. weggefallen. Das Backup macht es aber wie vorher, eventuell minimal schneller (habe es erst einmal benutzt).

Jo, ich mache ein Vollbackup meiner Rechner immer. Der QuadCore legt ein 5xx GB Backup in ca. 2.5 bis 3 Stunden an. Mit Kaspersky waren es 4 bis 5 Stunden, mit Avast eben die 2.5 bis 3. Eventuell ist es mit Acronis 2015 jetzt 2 bis 2.5 Stunden, das habe ich noch nicht so oft getestet. Die Beta lief aber bisher verdammt stabil. Und mich stoert es nicht, dass die die oben genannten Funktionen entfernt haben. Ich nutze, wie gesagt, nur Backup und Restore (und Mounting der Images). Dafuer reicht aber auch die 2014er. Die BootCD der 2015er hat uebrigens die gleiche GUI wie zu 2014er Zeiten.

PS: Spricht was gegen die Zusammenlegung dieses Threads mit dem anderen Acronis 2015 Thread?

Ich finde gut, dass die BootCD der 2015er Version noch die alte GUI hat. Bei der CD kann ich die Kacheln nicht gebrauchen. Umstaendlich ist es nun aber, die Universal Restore Features zu bekommen. Man muss nun mit der Backup-CD das Image zurueck spielen und dann eine weitere CD benutzen, die nur fuer Universal Restore zustaendig ist. Das finde ich nicht gelungen, zumal man im Mitgliederbereich bei Acronis eine extra Komponente laden muss, um diese Universal Restore CD zu erstellen.

Habe mal die Themen zusammen gefuegt.

Try & Decide ist ja mit der 2015er Version weggefallen. Es ist noch mehr gestrichen worden. Das hatte ich im zweiten Post im Kasten geschrieben gehabt, was weggefallen ist.
