Okay guys 2.0 is out! Out of pure curiousity I've uploaded a build compiled with the existing toolchain (Linaro 4.9.3 with Graphite) and another build compiled with the brand new SaberMod 5.0 (No Graphite Flags Until They Are Fixed) SM 5.0 is based on the new GCC 5.0, a new major version of the compiler. The files are labeled as such in the downloads folder. Please share which you think is better (Smoothness, battery, etc) 2.0 Is a huge update with well over 100 commits oh! and it will display your bin number on the front page of synapse now!. As Usual the changelog is posted in the second post If ur wondering why intelliplug got removed its because the testers were reporting issues with it, and I was having some weird issues with it as well and its very inactively developed by Faux123 atm. MSM Hotplug has been recommended and seems like a good replacement for now. Enjoy!

    Update auf 2.4:

    Zitat

    Some notable changes:

    1) Kernel memory leak fixes. I'm not done with this yet, there's still one more I need to track down in vfs. Keep in mind that kernel memory leaks are pretty small compared to ROM leaks which are what we really need fixed.
    2) Kexec/multirom support
    3) Enhancements in frequency mitigation prevention (you know the 40/20% battery thingie).
    4) various updates from CAF and Linux

As always, don't share this on XDA. THIS IS A TEST BUILD. With that said, provide some feedback if you can. Otherwise, I'll send some goombas to cut off your thumbs.

    NOW FLASH THAT SHIT!!

    Update auf 3.10-zen6:

    Zitat

    Just fixes the overclock issues.

If you want to enable overclocking, flash the kernel first. Then afterwards use the provided aroma/recovery zip in the OP. It pulls the boot.img from device and sets the cpu_max_freq boot parameter according to what you choose in aroma.

3.10-zen6 "Morning After" (Android 5.1 Only)
I suggest wiping cache before flashing
    Changes:

    • qcom-cpufreq allow a boot parameter to specify max_freq, which determines how to populate the frequency table. By default it is the stock 2.6GHz. If you use the aroma zip at the end of this post you can choose up to 3.03GHz. This kernel code/method is from @flar2 I only made minor/trivial changes to it and hacked up the aroma so people can change the boot parameter easily..
    • Changed f2fs mount options again, for more stability

    How to enable overclocking (zen6+)
To enable overclocking on zen6 or newer, you will need to use the recovery zip/aroma below.
You choose the max frequency you want, it pulls the boot.img from the device, adds a boot parameter specifying the OC frequency.
If you are not on zen6 or newer it will have no affect.

This does not install a kernel, you still have to install the kernel from one of the links above

    Hier ist v1.05:

There is also an update to the ElementalX app coming up.

I added some new features to the color control screen. You can now load and save profiles. I added a few different test images. If you click on the image, it changes. There are some existing profiles. Thanks to @franciscofranco for providing them.

There is new functionality in the Dashboard as well. I added an option to count deep sleep in the CPU time-in-state stats. You can access this screen by tapping the CPU info card on the Dashboard. You can also go directly to some of the other settings by tapping on the cards (Wake, GPU and I/O cards have this). I will be adding a few more new features to this when I can find the time.

@bbedward suggested adding a tunable for his kernel (BFS rr_interval), so it's there too. But I didn't test it because ElementalX doesn't have BFS

    Update auf v2.07:

    Zitat

2.07 is ready. It has a charging LED (quick flash) and ability to turn off the proximity sensor for the ambient display: allowing those with screen protectors that are interfering to get the ambient display to work. See top of post 2 for config info.
